Trip to Utah

We finally got to visit my parents on their mission in Utah. It was a really great trip. The kids did well on the plane and with all of the traveling. They really needed the personal connection with my parents. They seemed to be losing interest in just talking on the phone.
We flew into Vegas, drove to St. George and spent a week there with my sister, Monica's family and my parents. We also got to stay with a good friend of mine, Rachelle, in Vegas for a day. I love reconnecting with friends in person. It means so much to me to see people's homes and be able to picture where they are. Blogs are great, but I'm more of an up close and personal kind of person. Here are a few pictures from the trip . . .

We got matching shirts for all the girl cousins. They were super cute. Unfortunately the sun made it hard to get a good picture.

Hiking in Snow Canyon

Bowe fell asleep on the walk (because he wouldn't take a nap earlier) so my genious husband Todd rigged up a baby carrier with a jacket.
The kids loved eating at this bar. We will definitely be building one in our addition.

We love Nana!
And Papa of course!
